Apple laptops provide a very viable alternative to the traditional PC. There are growing increasingly in popularity and the amount of models released. Apple provides three main product ranges which cater to the vast majority of needs from various individual customers. The latter ranges include the standard MacBook, the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro.

The MacBook is your average consumer laptop product which is sufficient for the vast majority of people and provides a very satisfactory desktop alternative. All of the latest models come with 2 GB of RAM and Intel processors of dual core spec. Some of the higher end models in the series come with very decent graphics cards as well with as much as 256 MB of RAM.

A popular lightweight solution is the MacBook Air, which is improved a great deal in recent years over the original models. Apple laptops are becoming increasingly popular alternative to PCs. Currently on the market today, there are three ranges of portable computers marketed by Apple. These model ranges are the MacBook Air, the MacBook and the MacBook Pro. Each range caters to a different set of needs as outlined below.

The general purpose range of laptops from Apple is the MacBook. This is aimed at the consumer market and offers high performance at a good value for money. With 2 GB of memory and a dual core processor from Intel, the laptop is certainly comparable to high end PCs. The latest model also sports and Nvidia G-force 9400M coupled with 256 megabytes of memory.

On the higher end of Apples product line, you have the MacBook Pro. These laptops are extremely powerful, sporting 17 inch screens, desktop replacement quality graphics cards, as much as 4 GB of memory, enormous hard disks and of course powerful dual core processors. These are marketed towards power users, professionals and computer enthusiasts.

If youre looking for a more portable solution, the MacBook Air provides an ultra lightweight solution which does not skimp on specifications. In spite of their compact size and easy mobility, they still come with hard drives of 120 GB, dual core CPUs and 2 GB of memory. When it came time to purchase a case for my iPhone 4, I tried out a number of cases while trying to find a case that could fit all my needs.
