Dale “Snort” Snodgrass and Alldaron will attend the major annual Navy pilot reunion in September to launch the official Snort Signature Wings Of Gold watch series – details online at SnortStore.com – for Alldaron’s company SwissPL (a small company offering customized Swiss made watches). Dale partnered with Alldaron at SwissPL, and Dale is the perfect match since he is the legendary F-14 Tomcat Top Gun pilot.

Manufactured in Switzerland by a historic company with over 150 years heritage, the Snort signature series model will feature Snort’s signature on the dial located at the 6 o’clock position, along with the Navy Wings Of Gold at the 12 position. The wings will be produced from a metallic type foil mounted on the actual dial. The Snort signature watch series have been received with enthusiasm by the various Military units, both from the Navy and the Air Force, which Alldaron and Dale approached as the test markets. Almost immediately they started receiving orders for one of the three current versions of the series.

I can guarantee that if you ask any of your friends they will say they have watched a movie online before. Every one who’s anyone will have watched a film whilst sitting at their personal computer. Whether it was just out of boredom or they were specifically searching for a particular film they would have done it at some point. Just take a look in Yahoo search you will see masses of websites offering free movies.

The main problem is that not many of these movie websites are actually legal. There is also a good chance that you could get in trouble for using them and watching movies at your computer. Just think how much money movie studios have. They could sue you for big money and would it have been worth it for watching a lousy copy of a film? I doubt it.

If you want to watch free online films you should hunt for a secure, safe, legal and reliable website. Okay, so there is not currently many of this type of website around at the time being. In the early months of 2010, SwissPL – a private label Swiss wrist watch company – was formed by Alldaron Knewitz. SwissPL offers a unique opportunity to produce individually customized Swiss made timepieces for under $1,000 each. Up till this point that had been completely unheard of. As was always the tradition in Switzerland, dating back to 1705, if you wanted to produce your own private label timepiece (add your name to the dial of the watch or create a cool logo on the dial) you would have to order between 300 to 500 units; provided you could even find the manufacturing company. This excluded all but the most dedicated and wealthy people from making Swiss watches. This forced people to look to China for custom watches; though cheaper in manufacturing cost, the minimum quantity is often 10,000 units – and they aren’t Swiss made.

For close to 10 years now Alldaron has been involved in the watch industry. Noticing a trend shift from retail to online sales years before the watch industry cared, he formed a Swiss watch company, partnered with his father, to be sold exclusively online in 2005. This was at a time when people said it would never work, they were crazy, they would go bankrupt. A common reply was, “People don’t buy Swiss watches online”. One of the most interesting and exciting collectibles is the antique mantle clock.

They have been in production since as far back as the 1750s, but mantel clocks remain some of the most handsome timepieces ever made. They sit on the shelf over the fireplace which is known as the mantel or mantle and are usually a small mechanical clock with metal workings and a metal face. Traditional American ones have a wooden case and a very distinctive look. Antique mantel clocks made by the French are usually very elaborate.

Irrespective of how high the quality of the watch is, servicing at regular intervals is needed so that the watch functions properly. The service will range from just a battery change to a more involved procedure such as replacement of the waterproof seals. The next question which comes to mind is how to find a competent person to do your service, and what is likely to have to be done?

It is probably a good idea to have a look at your watch owner’s manual prior to going ahead and booking a service. Certain watch manufacturers use approved service personnel to carry out the service, but other manufacturers will tend to service their watches themselves.

Approved service personnel usually have a good stock of parts, meaning that a quick service or repair is more likely. They will probably have experience of working on your brand of watch and possibly your particular watch model. They will also be familiar with how to service it. High quality watches can be expensive. Maintain your investment by taking the time to care for your watch. Few realize that watches require simple and frequent maintenance to keep working at the most effective levels. Maintenance is especially important for watches that are only worn occasionally or on special occasions. When a watch isn’t worn often, the small gears may lose their lubrication and stop working properly. If you don’t regularly wear your watch, make sure that you at least take the time to wind it, clean it and keep it working properly. After all, who wants to have to purchase a new watch simply because the old one wasn’t treated properly?

One thing that is important to note is to keep your watch away from extremely hot or freezing cold temperatures.
