My First Childrens Fancy Dress Party

Author: Children are nuts about childrens fancy dress. They love the mystique and all that goes with dressing up for the occasion. There are outfits for every occasion. Pick your party theme and there will be a costume available for the occasion.
Younger kids go ape about animal costumes. (Excuse the pun) Gorilla, lion and elephant outfits are all the rage. Other children enjoy the domesticated animal outfits like rabbits, dogs and cats. Nothing looks cuter than a young kid in his little rabbit or bunny outfit.
If you are keen on your kid learning whilst playing then parties that combine with history are a great way to go. You could have a world war one or two theme part. How about a wild west party with Doc Holiday and Billy the Kid. A Robin Hood part with Friar Tuck, Little John and his band would also be a great deal of fun. Another great idea is a super hero party. The kids would be arguing over who gets to be Batman.
The female species of children enjoy the dainty outfits of fairies and of angels. The wands and wings that come with these outfits really help you to add that special touch and the kids just love dressing up.
The bigger kids seem to like dressing up like Captain Hook and other famous pirates. The kids absolutely love the swords and eye patches. These make the kids really believe they are just like the pirates of olden days.
A great idea is to throw an era party or combine them. You could have some kids dressing like the great Gatsby and some dressing like Elvis and people of that era. Combining the different eras can be a great way to educate your children about days gone by.
Period theme parties are also a firm favorite- ah how I miss those days when I used to attend childrens fancy dress parties.
